5 yrs since the twin towers although no-one ever mentions the third building No 7 that went down on the same day.
I've been thinking about what shows we might see when we become an Islamic state. A sort of mix between good old British and modern (well 13th century) Muslim.
'Im in the Sh-ite again' a possible future comedy of a fundementalistic who keeps slipping up and popping down the pub. Family comedy I think.
'Are you being Severed?' a rehash of the old Brit comedy with a Muslim twist. Old Mr Grace saying to the crew on the bomb making floor ' You're all dying very well!'
'Jehad's Army' a comedy about over the hill terrorists.
'It ain't half hot Iman' an hilarious comedy about a group of cross dressing terrorists entertaining the troops in Lebanon.
'Alas Sief and Jhanda', the boys doing sketches and routines Bagdhad style!
'Carry On Osama' the team reunite for one last explosive adventure amongst the caves of Afghanistan. The boys dress up in burquas and cause chaos!

So now the police are prosecuting a Christian for handing out leaflets which contain verses about homosexuality from the Bible??? What has he done wrong? It appears that what he did wrong was to disobey a Police Officer (gay?) when he was told to stop.
You simply cannot be arrested (and now charged) for handing out leaflets. It has long been established that we are entitled to non violent protest. Unlike the Muslim protests where they wanted to behead us all (no arrests still there!).
I say it again. We must tolerate these variations to our norm (I refuse to call it 'diversity') as they are perfectly legal under our current system. Tolerate does not mean embrace or agree with. With equal toleration those whom we tolerate must also tolerate our objections - that's freedom of speech which appears to be disappearing fast as the Police turn political and lose the support of the people.
Many times these week I've read that people will no longer support the Police. It is growing and their job will become impossible without the support of the population. And remember the majority of those who the police are 'protecting' want them dead! Interesting times indeed.

So Mum takes a passport application form into a Post Office and the person behind the counter refuses to accept the picture as her daughter has bare arms and might upset a Muslim! Neither the Post Office nor the Passport office has such a rule so this was simply the whim of an official. Like the whims of the Nazi official deciding to send some to the chamber and others not to. Power. This post office worker should be charged without any doubt for racial incitement. Then sacked. The mother, of course, should have asked to see the relevant section of the Passport legislation which states such a thing and refused to move until it was (which it couldn't have done!)
I don't like to see Muslims wear the full dress (Burqa). As a westerner I believe it to be hiding, not being open. If I wore a balaclava over my head, do you seriously think I could board a train or plane, yet we allow this garment where we do not even know if it is male or female. We must tolerate but we must all be treated equally also. One law for all is the basis of a democracy and it's one we invented.

So now out come the self appointed 'community' leaders. These are just lads, innocent until proven guilty! Isn't it odd that in most Muslim countries you don't even get a trial if the local Imman says not, ah but that's democracy for you.
If a Christian had blown up a plane in Iran - all Christian centres would have been stoned or destroyed, wailing men on the streets attacking flags yada yada. But over here it's keep calm they are only nice lads, I'm sure the Police have made a mistake!
In the States they rounded up every Japanese they could after Pearl Harbour!
How are we to protect ourselves? You have to remove the potential offender untimately. If burglers wandered around with striped jumpers and a 'swag' bag we would find them all, round them up and lock them away wouldn't we? Well wouldn't we?

Now we know why some Muslims are disaffected. They keep getting caught trying to kill their fellow Britains. Bound to piss you off that is.
There you are planning to kill 3000 innocent people doing what a good Muslim should do and suddenly out of nowhere comes PC Plod and 'you're nicked!'. Bound to make you depressed that is.
Anyone involved in these acts will eventually see the end of a free society which means they will have to leave. I've heard no condemnation at all today from the Muslim leaders - nothing.
I had to tune into CNN to even found out the facts as our poor excuse for a Home Secretary was too busy trying not to mention 'faiths and minorities' to give us the basic facts! Thank you USA Homeland!
Oh and why did it change from 'foiling a plot' to 'disrupted an 'alleged' plot'? Backpeddle that quick and your chain will fall off!!

So the deputy commisioner of the Met wants to investigate why young Muslims are so disaffected with the UK. This, of course, means MALE Muslims as the women do what they are told as second class citizens. Having your wife with the same rights as you as the husband actually is contrary to Muslim law! I can see why male Muslims would prefer it their way.
They can't drink in a society which virtually invented social drinking. Young non-Muslims can go out and have a few drinks and relaxed and that's bound to disaffect them. I'm fed up with being told that 90% of us have to change to meet the desires and concerns of 10%. This is a democracy (which, of course is against Muslim law where the cleric rules via his interpretation of a book) and it will always be a democracy.
This is a society where an old lady suffering from cancer must remove her headcovering because she might be a terrorist/thug but a Muslim woman can cover herself so much that we don't know if it is even a man or a woman!
What I am saying is that Britain is a tolerant society and people seem to have forgotten what that means. It means we tolerate other races/creeds/colours we don't have to embrace or change, but tolerate. Look it up in the dictionary.
1. To allow without prohibiting or opposing; permit.
2. To recognize and respect (the rights, beliefs, or practices of others)
It doesn't way that we should change or embrace. The country's minorities should recognise this and they should embrace that definition.
The last time someone tried to force their willpower on the English people he found himself in a civil war which Democracy won. And he was a King!
Sorry Deputy Commisioner, they are not disaffected, they want things their way only.

So the Top Gear team are in trouble because they mentioned Hitler or did a Nazi salute. Some sad lonely individual made a complaint (whose identity, of course must be kept secret). I'm pleased the BBC have refused to back down. We have to face our past and learn not deny or try to ignore it.
Hitler was a nutcase untimately and if he had not killed the German jews he might even had succeeded, after all he would have had a lot more soldiers/scientists/rocket experts and money. But like most that went before him and came after him they only crave their own success.
The Nazi regime was powerful and enviable in the way the Roman Empire was and the British Empire was not. Total power without concience. We, of course had one. That's why we conquered and then tried to rule with fairness and not total aggression and inevitably had to divide and rule, Indian/Pakistan, N Yemen, S Yemen, N Ireland, S Ireland, Israel/Palestine the list goes on! So does the killing.
I think the Nazis had some very reasonable attitudes which, as I say, had they not been guided to ethnic cleansing, could have been successful. The Nazi salute was based on the Roman salute, I don't hear ayone get offended when you mention the rape of Britain by the Italians in the first century? Soon anyone who was alive in WW2 will have passed and we can move on.

I used to have some sympathy for the Israelis. But it's gone on long enough. Israeli terrorists forced the removal of the Palestinians in 1947 and even killed a Uk Minister in the process, they invented modern terrorism. You could have a bit of sympathy following the Holocaust but that was 60 years ago and they continue to trade on it. Their response to Hezbullah amounts to nothing but simple execution of innocents.
There is no solution to the Middle East crisis until Israel gives in and accept their fate, then they will have the support of the world once again. Until then they will become pariahs and it's to our every increasing shame that the Uk government does not condemn it. But they have spent more time this week on ensuring that any pensioner found to put his rubbish out the night before a collection will recieve the full weight of the establishment.
Until we get our priorities right we will continue to lose the support of the rest of the world. But then there are children who climb trees to arrest and DNA.
I never believed I would say this but I wouldn't help the Police in anyway at anytime whilst they continue to use their resources in this way. Oh and I was a Police Officer once!

What sort of country wants to prosecute children for playing hopscotch on the playground, or climbing in a tree? England does (please note these laws do not apply to Scotland and Wales)!
What sort of country will not control murderers. rapists and peadophiles because it may 'interfere with their human rights'? Endgland does.
Why do half a million people leave the UK each year? because Middle England can't take much more.
What country wants to be governed by Scottish MPs? England does.
What country will eventually rise up and chaos will rage in the streets? England will (we have a reputation for it, ignore it at your peril)

Last night our cat Domino died. Up until around 5 weeks ago I was of the mindset which says 'it's only a cat, get over it and go buy a new one'. I'm 55, a professional photographer and just didn't realise that when Trixie, Domino's mum died last month that you can actually grieve for a pet.
Then yesterday Domino, who seemed healthy enough, died. A mixture of age and the heat of 35C. She died being stroked by me as I always used to (more for my own comfort than her I suspect) and hearing my voice. I don't know if this made things better for her but it did for me.
I shall miss Domino. Suddenly finding her under my feet or jumping onto my desk wiping out hours of Photoshop work and then looking at me.
Ah well .............

I'm pretty average I guess in terms of a typical Englishman, I queue when expected, I pay taxes, I don't moan and generally put up with everything. At least that's what I thought until recently. Things are changing, some quickly others slowly and I want to explore (as well as moan about) these changes.
What am I talking about?
Speed cameras, bank charges, 0800 numbers, mobile phones, personalised number plates, litter wardens, on the spot fines, government interference both local and otherwise is a reasonable start.
Take on the spot fines. Pay now or we'll take you to court and make you pay more. That isn't justice of any sort. You are effectively not being given a choice, it's a threat. Guilty as charged.
And it's not just Police, who we can assume are trained and fair in the their distribution of summary justice, but even a park warden has these powers! They are our servants, we pay their wages they should do what they used to do -'go around with a pointed stick and pick up our rubbish'! Instead they are ellivated to the position of 'policing, judging and sentencing'!
I'll finish now on speed cameras. The average speed camera costs £25,000 and lasts an average of 8 years with maintenance costs of £18,000 per year. It MUST therefore catch enough motorists to support itself. Any camera which actually stops ANY speeding would therefore be a net cost to these so called police/council partnerships so the absolute intention is to reduce 'average' speeds but be effective enough to cover it's costs although clearly there is a profit motive here with many cameras now hitting the millions in recorded fines.
If you kill the fines and have a 9 point penalty (or even a 3 month ban) you would stop speeding overnight, BUT there would be no profit in that. So you are told you were speeding, fined and then penalised again by points. It's one of the only offences where you can be penalised twice!
It's a bit like your council tax which must be paid even if they do not deliver the goods or it's prison. You can be sent to prison for not paying for services your provider is actually contracted to provide. Most councils outsource their services to private companies (did you know this?). So they contract a refuse collection company to service your road and (I used to negotiate these contracts) they ensure that there are severe penalty costs should they fail. So next time they don't clean up your road or fail to collect your rubbish remember your council will have received a nice cheque from them under their contract for failing to deliver.
If you try that then it's off to prison!
