Some things are a bit less than manly, a little girly. Some men are less than manly , a little girly - sorry but that's the way they behave. How are they to be described? You cannot dump a concept of maleness = strength etc just because 2 % of the population are 'gay' which, by the way,in the OD has 24 refernces to happy feelings partying etc and TWO, just TWO concerning homosexuality!

Gays also refer to themselves as 'queer'. Well how can anyone object to the word being used by non gays?

Also note that in 99% of all other countries JC wouldn't have been spoken to but there again this government goes down (ooooops) without the queer or gay vote!

How things will change in but a few years when scientists can offer parents to remove the gay gene?

Just a second thought. Are we to assume that anything the Germans were involved with should not be talked about? Volkswagon drivers are in for trouble then!

We should also remember that the Germans invented the modern telescope, motorcycle, pedal cycle, discovered X Rays, mercury thermometer, Levi jeans, kindergartens, moveable print press, the globe, contact lenses and the Gieger counter. The Nazi uniform was smart and very reminicent of the Romans as was the architechture and the formation of it's army. Caesar had a Pretorian Guard, Hitler had the SS. They used banners and symbols in much the same way as the Romans.

I agree with Ferry that the images produced by the Nazis in 'conning' their own people were truly stunning and very very effective.

Some local louts have just trashed the Church. The Vicars response? We are all to blame! We shouldn't go looking for them as we should be doing something as a town.

Now the Church is being threatened after 500 yrs of freedom from the unrelenting dogma of the Catholic faith - over the gay community. I've said before, I am tolerant but I will not accept being forced to accept certain things.

The recent Big Brother and the manifestation of racism, I'm afraid' is a major embarrassment. No not to Channel Four who've done very well out of it. No not the Government who, no doubt, will seek further laws and control.

No it's an embarrassment to the British people who will now realise that we do not live in a tolerant society. Our 'tolerance' is enforced by law and as such any racism, anti LGB groups (lesbian, Gay and Bi-sexual - this is new Government speak) etc which actually does exist is supressed, not by desire as it is in a true tolerant society, but by threat of fine, loss of job and status or imprisonment.

These laws have created a veneer of tolerance. It is so easily scraped away.

Why do we have to start positive discrimination? The new laws coming out this year insist that regardless of your religeous view, moral view, upbringing or personal tast you cannot discriminate because of sexual orientation. That's not a tolerant society, that's a police state in it's embryonic stages. If we are properley governed, made to think and educated correctly then we would not need such laws. The government failed in that so it seeks to bring it about with potential threat and punishment! That's New Labour for you.

You can be pretty sure that no large organisation will ever be prosecuted regardless but some small ones will go to the wall. Older people, Christians, Muslims (well perhaps not) and Jews will also feel the Police pinch on their collars.

For a Muslim to even have discussions with an open gay couple will break his belief let alone anything else. But these are the obvious ones. It's the ordinary guy the police will go for - easy pickings. Like the couple arrested for wanting hand out leaflets against Gay marriages (sorry legal arrangements) - easy (although as usual thrown out by people with some sense - or fear of upsetting the other 98% of the population)

In the late 70s and 80s the quick way to make a buck or get your way as an Asian or black guy was to accuse someone with the line "It's because I'm black/asian/indian/jew etc etc". It took years for that to stop whilst many people suffered because they were accused in many cases wrongly and their lives/businesses suffered. This will happen with Gays and there's simply no need for it.

To refuse products and services to people who are gay is illegal NOW. There are many acts which can be used already on the statute books. Such action is based on bigotry, sexual discrimination and is illegal. The Government know that it can be defended and they do not want it tested in the courts. This law is simply unbeatable and they know it.

Under current legislation it is up to the authorities to prove that you are refusing on such grounds. Now under the new act and defence will be required to prove that they wern't! What happened to not guilty before verdict?

Lets take an example. If two guys came to me and wanted me to phtograph their wedding and I was busy (in reality), they could suspect that I was denying them because of my views on their sexuality with me even saying so! That suspicion is enough for th Police to investigate. I would then have to prove to the Police that there was no such reason and how do I do that?

By the way I do same sex couples as I'm in business and a shoots a shoot! But I have had to turn business away in the past for personal reasons. Have I now got to explain to every client why I cannot accept their commission?

Now think about caterers, venue owners, chaffeurs, vicars, priests, taxi drivers indeed any small business which simply does not want the business for whatever reason. Anarchy will follow this law.

I like to think of this place as one where I can express opinion. I doubt anyone actually reads it but it is cathartic to write it down for me!

The up and coming laws regarding discrimination against gays for instance. To make it illegal not to provide gays with service is a huge backward step for the gay community although most of them are too busy trying to push their sexuality down our throat to realise the backlash such laws will create for them.

As a service provider I will decide who I offer that service to, not the state. If I do not want to provide for non normal people then I won't. Why should I? There are very clear and obvious differences between normal couples and gay couples. There are also very obvious biological reasons why they cannot be treated exactly the same. Anyone who is religeous cannot remain so if they accept gays. You cannot change a religeon based on thousands of years because one country (and it's mainly the UK) says so. Not possible.

Not being particularly religeous and not having a problem with gays I can make my own mind up. BUT I will NOT be told what to do by the state so that it can gain a few measly votes at the next election. Never.

Two positive decisions made today by the world's justice system.

Firstly that Pakistan has upheld British law will come as a surprise to many. Pakistan is a modern country and this firmly establishes it as part of the International community. The young girl must be returned to the UK to hear the decision of the current legal process which is continuing in the UK. Whether she should be with her Mum or Dad is down to our ccourts andI hope her wishes will be respected also.

I am suspicious of her father though as in mediation he agreed she could see her Mother BUT only in Pakistan sounds a bit odd from someone who kidnapped her (albeit with her willingness it seems) in the first place. She will, of course soon be of marriageable age.

Secondly the High Court has agreed that the two Muslims must be extradited to the USA. Absolutely correct. They are charged with inciting murder. Kill the Infidels! Support the Taliban. Murder! Kill! Bomb! Ok so you're arrested. Oi! what about my human rights? They may hurt/threaten/jail me over there, it's not fair!

No mate neither is encouraging people to kill your fellow human beings. I am sure the USA will treat them right (wink wink)! Goodbyeeeeee

The uncontrollable march of the administrative bureaucrat continues, it seems, unabated. £100 fines if you put the wrong food in the dustbin.

It's simple really. You pay your rates which covers the removal of your rubbish. The councils are changing the rules but not the rates so (morally at least and it could be legally challenged) you should be able to reassess your part in the process.
If you have to do work which you previously didn't have to do on the councils behalf then charge them for it!

Get an invoice book from W H Smith or download one from the Internet, assess how much extra time YOU are giving to the council over and above that which you did when they last assessed your rates and charge them. Be fair and reasonable about this. Say two hours per month at £10 x 12 =£120. Send the invoice to the Environmental office. This should state 'hrs for realignment of household waste' at -'your address'. Include your bank details for BAACS transfer.
Use your rates invoice number as a reference, this is in case they check and the number will at least show up as a legitimate council number.

You are not committing any fraud as you should be able to prove that the council's insistence has led to you having to do work for which you are entitled to some compensation.

Most large organisations pay these types of bills automatically. It is up to the council to challenge your right to charge them.

The ludicrous continues. Scarborough have used H&S guidelines to save themselves money and allow an increase in their salaries next year. Councils have now cottoned onto the fact that you can ban virtually anything under H&S thereby avoiding their responsibilities and increasing available funds for salaries.

The same with recycling. Your council makes a profit on recycling which goes into the coffers for their pay and if you don't follow they can fine you increasing the amount available for their salaries.

Remember all of this when it's time to vote, BUT also do not vote for any councillor who is not prepared to reduce staffing by 15%. Ask them. E-mail them. Write to them.

Bonfire Night. The night we celebrate the survival of democracy (oh and Protestantism). It is NOT a fireworks night which some councils seems to think it is, burning tigers and putting turbans on. It is an ENGLISH event, Christian, Domocratic. All you have to do is challenge these things and they will collapse.

Some bully boys forcibly took sparklers off some 5 yr olds under Health and Safety. Why did the parents allow this? Tell them to go away and light up. If they attempt to touch you then it's assault. If they take the sparklers aways it's theft! H&S requires a court order for such activity to be legal. Challenge them! Refuse them. Let them take you to court -they are more than likely to lose. If they win - appeal. Make a lot of noise! Set up a web-site prior to elections, tell people that they can win.

Prince Charles needs to remember that if he becomes King he is the defender of the christian faith, nothing more. If he wants to do something different then he must not take the crown when the time comes or there will be riots on the streets.
This is a Christian country - period. All we ever hear about is a tiny minority (Muslims and others) asking us to accept them and their ways. No. We shall tolerate them as we should. We live in a country where ALL are equal and that includes Muslim women. If the Muslim community want anything different then it must apply to ALL Muslim women which could be technically enshrined in British law 'stating that all Muslim women must remain at home and not work'. Somehow I don't think that's what they really want!

So Guy Fawkes night approaches and the kill joys are all over us justifying their jobs. They actually have no interest in our health nor our safety but solely in their own job defence. Local clubs forced into raising money because the council can't afford to help due to the massive explosion in spend on their administration and expenses, are now being told they can't hold a bon-fire because they would have to pay for special services just in case. Sparklers are banned due to H&S. The council employs special people to knock down conkers from trees so that the kids won't hurt themselves (or rather their parents won't sue the council).

When will people actually stand up and be counted? We are being gently pushed down a road where the state interference actually exceeds that of Nazi Germany! If you are told not to put paper in the grass bin , then put paper in it! (I do EVERY time). Eventually the councils will be forced to relent by the sheer weight of public pressure.

Only vote for councillors who will do something about it. E-mail them, write to them, tell them that unless they publicly state that they will stand for any rate payer who is prepared to fight the state then do not vote for them.

They can be beaten. I send mine an invoice every month for council support activities such as black bag preparation, bottle management for the same as the rates they charge. Why should it all be one way?

So how do Police dogs do their job when they are muzzled?

So Rover has to be muzzled in case he hurts a rapist or murderer or thief?
What a bloody country!

Now the Police are throwing 14 yr old girls into cells because they questioned their teachers incredible stupidity of making her join a group of non English speaking pupils to 'discuss' science.
If I were the parents I would sue the School for a frightening amount of compensation for their discredited actions. I would also sue the Police for wrongful arrest, again for a frightening amount of money.

We simply have to fight back against this. The vast majority of people in this country are white Christians, beware the backlash when it comes and it surely will unless we release the pressure of enforced multi-culturism. I do not want to live in such a society. I have my own views and express them. I do not want us to bow to a tiny tiny tiny minority such as the Muslims. They are very tiny and therefore cannot be significant in the greater whole. This is a democracy and it will win, which will be a shame in the way in which it will win.

If we dump the Human rights act, the recent terrorist bills and the current racial hatred laws, we will grow. With them in place and a Police force without a single bit of common sense then the only way out will be to kick back.

Apologise for slavery? You must be joking.

Firstly the British didn't invent slavery (the Romans were masters at it and I'm expecting the Italian apology any day now for their invasion). Most of the slaves collected on the Gambian coast were collected by the tribes themselves or slavers from Southern Spain, Britain facilitated the triangle as we were masters of the sea at the time.

The slave triangle ended in 1807, the Americans carried on effectively enslaving their black population for another 160 years! Longer than the slave trade ever lasted! The slave trade was borne out of necessity at the time, the Americans kept it going out of greed and dominance.

I hope that Martin Luther King, Condolesa Rice, Colin Powell etc accept the apology for making them some of the most powerful blacks in the world! Without slavery, of course, they would be as a Gambian is now!

You can't apologise for something that was acceptable at that point in time or else we'd be apologising to each other all the time! The Germans would spend most of their time on their knees, the Catholics would be trying to appease the Protestants, Christians would be asking the Jerusalem muslims to forget about that incident back in the crusades - ad invinitem!

So Newcastle are sepnding a fortune on collecting conkers to avoid the possibility of some young lad hurting himself (which is part of the excitement!). Absolute bloody rubbish. The overpaid underworked slightly less than bright councillors and their useless administrators simply want to intervere. All we want the council to do is collect the rubbish, look after the roads and sort the schools out. I don't want a Muslim Lesbian Single Parent outreach officer or a diversity advisory team! I can make my own bloody mind up.

At last someone is talking some sense. Jack Straw's comments are not about what someone should be allowed to wear as many apologists have tried to say. It's about openness and honesty. I wouldn't talk to someone wearing a veil, I consider it an insult them not being prepared to show their face -by choice remember, the Koran doesn't enforce it.

How would they feel if sitting on a bus they were surrounding by 4 passengers wearing balaclavas? The open face is the only natural way of recognition, it was given to us by nature. It is said that the veil allows Muslim men to beat their wives and not have it draw attention.

How do you know the person behind the veil is who they say they are? nd that cannot exist in modern Britain. In this case it is they who must change. Most of Europe bans the veil and we are part of the EU.
